Ok. Well the problem is.
I have a korg R3, and am using an intel mac, meaning i can use both windows or mac programs. I need to create a midi file on my computer, and use it to control my R3, using the patches on the R3 to create my final music assesment.
So far i have:
Ashton USB to MIDI Cable.
Korg R3 (How Obvious)
Macbook Pro.
USB Cable for USB To R3.
I have been trying to use a trail version of "Live" but am just failing epicly.
Can someone help me?

You need to download and install the Korg USB-midi driver.
After the midi driver is installed, you might as well download and install the R3 Editor Librarian Software too, which can prove that the USB connection is working and let you control the R3 directly.
Then you can use the R3 from any program that uses midi such as Live, after you configure it to choose the Korg midi driver.
