'kORG made PA800 and PA500 for turks most. all turk weddings have them. Rolands and yamaha are better for west songs'

Korg PA is not turkish and is not specificaly designed for turks. if you take a close at the styles yiu will see that the Latin styles are the most numerous, does that mean that the Latin Americans can make the same claim as you have made that the keyboard is made for Turks???????

Just becuae you guys use the keyboard, doesn't make it turkish.

every one know this. Look youtube and search Korg pa 800 pa 500. only little number are not turks. that why korg sells a lot to turks. they make sets and styles. live stage is all korg in Turkey. Rolands is more in europe and America for rock songs.

I have tested Korg PA500, Roland E50 and Yamaha PSR S700 all three inside out. PA500 is NOT Turkish at all! There are 320 factorystyles in the keyboard; 95% (perhaps even more) is Western music! Pop, rock, balads, everything. That a lot of Eastern musicians use PA500 (or 800) is just because of the flexiblity of the instrument AND because of the great drum-kits on board. Listen to the instruments before you give your comment. For me, PA500 is the winner when it comes to the genres I like to play. The Korg styles are really world-class and great fun to play. In fact, I too was misled by all the Turkish You tube movies and wanted to buy a Yam PSR S700. I'm very glad I didn't, because PA500 is much more professional sounding!

Its not the speakers, The pa1x 61 key has better speakers than the pa800 yet not better sounds. The pa800 is much more superior to the pa500 in many things. One thing to note is the 120 oscilators of polyphony in the pa800 comapred to 80 in the pa500.

Please (better) read my earlier post:
"Of course PA800 is a better instrument! There's no doubt about that. It is also in a completely different price range (and thus: league). If you want to compare, you should compare PA800 to let's say Roland E80 or Yamaha Tyros. PA500 should be compared to instruments in the SAME price-range, so to for instance Roland E50/60 and Yam PSR S700. And if you do that, PA500 is IMHO the best choice."

It is very important, because I think these keyboards can't read styles diretly from disquete or usb drive (Roland or Yamaha can do it, and old PA50 if I remember well).

Please (better) read my earlier post. Of course PA800 is a better instrument than a PA500; it's also in a completely different league. You should compare with instruments in the same price range. In PA500 you can insert SD-cards. Works perfectly! Small and with large capacity.

It's on a Dutch keyboard forum, and not available in English.
My most important findings: They are both very good keyboards. I like the sound & styles of the PA500 better and also the keybed.
Like you, I also mostly play contemporary music.
Check out the instruments in a good music store yourself.
