Digital Edition Newbie in Bermuda - Help!

How do I configure this software to work as a plugin? Using Logic 8, and nothing shows up during AU validation. Do I need to put it in a specific location on my HD? All other plugins I use just show up automatically. I am able to use the M1 and WS in stand-alone mode. The MDE-X doesn't show up at all. I have downloaded the latest versions of everything.
Any help anyone can give would be helpful. (New at this stuff, so your patience is appreciated).

I had a similar problem with KLC-DE 1.3.1 in ProTools. At first the RTAS plugins didn't show up in the plugins folder. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled, then there they were. Don't know why, though and the things don't work either - very unstable, processor overload, crap really!
