Well... they need to correct the links.
As of now;
- The Musical Resources link (Pa2X_res_v201.zip) is identical with the Operating System link (Pa2X_os_v201.zip).
- The Utilities - System Reset - Pa2X_os_res_v201.zip link points to the Musical Resources (Pa2X_res_v201.zip).

That's great news, and I have seen that they have fixed the problem with the Songbook. :)

I thinki have Bad News, it wont install, it fails each time, tried all possible
options with format and Big File, just OS and MS...nothing works...i think
KORG should put their things together, releasing OSs over night and none
works...please dont tell me i dont know how to do it, i will just laugh.
This OS wont install on my PA800 and nothing is wrong with the synth, it is
probably one of the Most tested machines of all PA800s.

Hi Nedim. Have installed on my pa2x and went like a Dream. I've been playing it for the last hour with no problems at all. It has to be just the pa800 update that is the Issue.

Probably because something happened to your connection during the download. I suggest you try downloading the files again.

I would also recommend using a download manager like FlashGet. A download manager has a step back ability and error detection that will give you a successful download every time. If during a download an error is detected, it steps back a few KB and redownloads that section again.

Pretty cool little programs actually.

Kind Regards.
Sharp.

I see from the release notes that all the following bugs have been fixed in OS2.01. Maybe a few people could confirm these functions are now working OK?

a) TXT files with the same name of a Standard MIDI File, or TXT files linked to a Standard MIDI File-based SongBook entry, were sometimes not loaded when selecting the referring Song.

b) in Style Play Mode the focus on the Tempo field was lost when selecting a different tab in the main page.

c) When saving a SongBook entry over itself, with the “Write Current Resource” option checked, the Key parameter was reset.

d) Loading a Song-based entry with some particular Keys, and the Italian language selected in Global > Interface, could cause a crash.

e) Drum Kits created on a Pa80 (using only Factory Drum samples), and never saved with a Pa1X, Pa2X or Pa800 (in this way, making a file format conversion), could cause problems when loaded on Pa2X/Pa800 OS 2.0.

f) The Performance “Jimmi Org. DNC” and the STS “Organ DNC” now have the Dry parameter turned on on the Upper 2 and Upper 3 tracks.

Best regards,
Rob
