Hey all, I have owned my ESX now for ~a year (purchased used, previous owner had it for about a year). Recently my FX Edit 2 knob has started to periodically drift (cycles back and forth a little, usually at a low level), and sometimes will not allow me increase the parameter it is controlling without actually turning it all the way to the maximum and placing substantial pressure on it. I.E. It is not working...
Has anyone else encountered this?
I understand that the pots can wear out, but this seems like fairly soon, considering the pots on ALL of my equipment that is 10+ years old still function fine. I love my ESX, but this is a little disappointing to have happened when the thing is only ~2 years old. Unfortunately as alluded to before I don't have a warranty, so this is gonna have to be a home job...
Has anyone attempted to replace these? And if so do you know a part number?
Thanks!

thanks for the reply. i am aware of stuff like that. fortunately i knew the previous owner, and the esx sat most of the time while it was owned by him. obviously i am aware that the pot is malfunctioning, and am interested in replacing it, and i am just posting to see if anyone else has had this issue, and if anyone else has fixed it.

Knob Replacement
Hi lotusone,
I have recently bought a used ESX too and it had a bunch of defects that i knew of when i bought it so i got it cheap.
I am going to buy the pots tomorrow and will post the part numbers in a new tread.
I am planning to post pictures as well.
Since the parts are special order i was told it could take up to 5 weeks to get them.
So far these are the part numbers i found:
Fuse Chip: 464x120000
Power Supply: ka-163
Pot eg int (filter): 362x120001 Note this pot has a center position so could be used for pan as well.
Ribbon Arpeggiator: 41500450
Slider: 365X120000
Regards,
