Pa500 Pitchbend problem

Post by itchy2005 »

hey, guys, i bougt before about 4 months a Pa500 and after some months, the pitch bender X+/- didn't react anymore.... okey, no problem, i contacted the shop and i sent it for reperature. okey, the arranger came back and two days later.... exactly the same... okey, i sent it over again, and before two days it came back. now guess what happened again?! EXACTLY! same pitchbend problem. I think it's senseless to try to reapair again... don't know what to do :-( I already think about checking a lawyer. Technical or jurisdictional help needed :-(

(I'm sorry for my english... no native speaker)

Since the shop are unable to make a permanent good repair then you are entitled to your money back. Then you can order something from another shop. There should be no need for a lawyer, just tell the original shop that you are asserting your right to a full refund - they have had their chance to make good and blew it.

Who was the original shop - just so we can inform other people corresponding on this forum not to buy from them?

Best regards,

okey, but can i get the whole price or will they say: you used it!

i mean there are little scuffs, of course in a normal way, every keyboard has after some usage.

Hm, i don't know, if it is so fair to say the name ... *thinkin'*

It's up to you...but you could give them one more chance?
Have you talked to the OWNER or general manager of the shop?

Sometimes you have to escalate things to high level of management.

I would.

It's under full warranty, they can replace it if they can't fix it!

If they don't want to help anymore, get a full refund...FULL refund.
Then ell us the name of shop so no one buys from them.

Hello, have a look at http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... ight=Pa500

I had promems with it and I finally fixed by myself. It seems that quality is a bit poor.

Good luck!

IMHO,
Korg needs to upgrade that componment. Assuming these were not abused in any way...it should last for years.

I would write to the dealer I purchased it and officially complain and ask for a long term fix...it may break again? Or it may not.
