any help here, have a certain program that contains timbres and drum I want to keep, but...
In another program say C06 it has a certain synth sound ie, timbre , I like the pattern in A04 but want to place the timbre from C06 that sound i into A04.
How do I do that ? any help
When in edit mode of the new program, select the timber where you want it to go, then press the utility button and you can select a program and timber to copy from. This feature is why it's always a good idea to name all of your timbers in addition to just naming the program.
also if you go to the timbre page, you can highlight the timbre you want to change then just turn the wheel to scroll through ALL your timbres. similarly, if you go past all the programs you start to go through the template timbres.
most programs will copy the IFX too. and as soon as you start editing, you are editing a copy of the timbre in this program so unlike on workstations you won't damage your other programs
