Sequencer Time Signature Question

Post by AdamantVision »

Hello,

I'd like to know if i'm missing something...when I go to record things in the sequencer in time signatures other than 3/4, it only switches the signature in the measures i record to the very first time. After that, beyond that point in the song, even looping the tracks, it reverts to 4/4. Is there some way to permanently shift a song's time signature and have it remain?

Thanks!

Before recording, go to Event Edit.
Use Delete Measure, select all tracks and delete the default 64 measures of 4/4.
You'll be good to go.

Can you save this then as a template and just load this each time to stop having to delete the 64 bars?

You don't need to create a template.
Just save it as a .sng file, after following the steps I mentioned.
Load it and it works the same way.

This has been an annoying feature on the M3 to me. Last night, I was working on a song that alternates 4/4, 4/4, 5/4,. I had to go in and record the time signatures for 26 measures. The thing is - I may not even use this part of the song at the beggining and when I copy a measure, the time signature isn't copied.
