Radias 2.0 update froze and now can't get Radias into update
Trying to update Radias to ver 2.0, I'm using current usb driver, got the update software to detect the Radias but within the first 10 seconds got an error and the process froze on the Radias end so I powered down and tried a few more times then finally, THE RADIAS wouldn't go into update mode anymore when holding the master fx button with the two cursor keys. I just get a blank screen for as long as I hold them down. When I release the keys it boots up normally. Anyone else had this happen ? I can't update it and support at Korg says bring in to service center sounds like a rom needs replacing ???
well i'd say you need to send it to a service centre... if thats what korg support say.
I doubt anyone will be able to help you further here.
what version does your Radias say it is at now?
I seriously recommend doing the upgrade... when you finally can, it makes the radias into a much more powerful machine, imho.

That's just it, I cannot see what version it is anymore since the function has stopped working. The Radias no longer will go into that screen it's just blank. I believe it is 1.7. BTW, the Macintosh version of the Radias updater no longer senses the Radias although it is connected via USB to the G5 Macintosh ever since the update crashed the Radias...

STILL NOT WORKING. Is there a high level reset command ?
After many many weeks just got Radias back from a reputable repair center ? They assured me over the phone nothing was wrong all working user connectivity at fault. Guess what still exactly the same as in my above post. Is there a way to do a high level reset, not just a factory patch reset ? This Radias is crashing the OS X audio midi setup ! Maybe a Korg technician super reset will un-clog it ?? Anyone ??? Next step back to the store I bought it from....
