I've just bought a mini KP and i was wondering how can i connect speakers to my KP. I don't have a pair of speakers available for it and i was wondering how is it done and what kind of speakers are recommended. I'm currently using it with my mp3 player as the KP is my first instrument
There are many options. For example you could connect the line out connectors to an amplifier in a home hi-fi audio system or to a pair of powered speakers (e.g. M-Audio BX5A). Or you could use a pair of speakers designed for an iPod or similar portable audio device, using the headphone socket on the miniKP. The same goes for the kinds of speakers you can connect to your PC, which can also connect to the headphone socket of the miniKP.
Well, i discovered that the headphone socket can be user of course for speakers but not with a very good sound quality. I was wondering if a mixer could help and thus improving the sound quality and volume. I was thinking at a Behringer-DX052 - 2 chanels or a Behringer-DX626 - 3 chanels.
ok, but would a mixer be an upgrade in performance in this case. could i connect the mini KP at the mixer and than some speakers to the mixer or i still need to connect the speakers at the mini KP.
You don't need a mixer to hear the miniKP, since can hook the miniKP directly to powered speakers. If you need to use the miniKP effects with more than one input source at a time, then you'll need a mixer.
the microphone input on the PC is usually only mono and has some amplification. both of these factors will lower the quality. you'd be bette off finding the line-in socket at the back somewhere (usually has a picture of a wave with a small arrow going into it), as this is in stereo and has no amp.

my sound card is a Creative - Sound Blaster audigy and the microphone socket is the same with the line in ( the last socket) meaning, unfortunately if a put it as a line in id sounds incredibly low...and still mono...i think i am a noob..
Your question has already been answered well by X-trade in another thread. Please do not post duplicate questions, particularly not to old threads. I agree with X-trade, buy a good bass pedal instead. If you know how to play bass well, then both your hands should be busy. You can use pedals with your feet while you're playing. The miniKP can't be operated with your feet.
