NEED HELP!!! Pedal Damper on PA-80

Hey guys, i just got a Roland DP-8 pedal, and I don't know how to make it that when I hold a chord with my left hand, then i want to release the chord, but the sound to keep going while the foot pedal is pressed.. please help me set that up!

i thought you might have found the answer by now.
change polarity. if the pedal does not have a swich for that, you can do it from pa's menu, under global setting i believe.

only switch on the pedal is an icon that looks like a hill :) i assume for damper and sustain switching..

and instruction how to switch polarity on the korg pa80 itself ?
