Hello
In the 80's band I'm playing in, the chief has been totally obsessed with a Karma combi called "romance layers" now, having the Karma on the road with us, just for that combi is getting on our nerves, so we'd like that sound on an Oasys. But it has been removed from the sound banks. I believe it was to be found on the Triton series as well. So my question is, is it possible to add the Karma combi to the Oasys, or have anyone created a "clone" for the Oasys?

Well, you could sample it and set it up as a program in the Oasys. To work it up from ground up would take some time and effort. I feel it could be done, even approximating Karma sequencing, since the Oasys has Karma 2.1 and the Karma's "Karma sequencing" is less sophisticated. As far as sounds go the Oasys should be up to the task.

I don't have a KARMA keyboard here, so I'm not sure what this particular Combi sounds like. Are you using the sound with KARMA on or off?
Just going by the name, is it possible that Program INT-C064, Romance Piano Bell-Knob 5, might be close to what you're looking for? (Make sure to move knob 5 to see what it does to the sound.)
