I am wanting to thicken my radias sound by sending straight midi note information to my Plugiator...
However, the Plugiator (a single timbred synth)is receiving all of the midi clock information which is making it react oddly even when there is no sequence running...
Is there any way to play a secondary midi module from the Radias Kybd, without the radias rack transmitting the internal/auto clock over midi on that local channel???
Changing the clock to USB or Midi bypasses this behavior, however it shuts off the internal clock which means no sequencing or modulation sequencing can run on the Radias without a clock source at the input.....
Is there a midi filter switch that reacts to what is sent out the output ?
I must be missing something....I have tried sending from timbre 3 on an independent midi channel ... but that also stops the global synth from being played when timbre 3 is selected...
I also dabbled with the post/ pre keyboard configuration, but this seems to only affect input...
There is no settings to adjust or filter midi on the Plugiator besides (Midi channel 1-16) and omni.....

Clocks are not channelized, so making channel adjustments won't do anything useful.
The Radias does not have a way to filter sending internal clock and it's unfortunate that the Pkugiator also has no filtering possible.
You could buy an inline device to filter out he clocks but it's not a cheap solution, for instance a unit from MIDI Solutions is over $100.
The other possible solution is if you have yet another device which could be clock master...computer sequencer, drum machine, etc.
Good luck.

Alesis has always offered clock types (Ext Tape, Internal only, midi and internal,Midi) and a switching option to shut off the clock with the "transmit midi clock "enable" option" and there were always channel options for the sending of clock...USB comes to the scene in place of Tape and all else is forgotten??
Sounds like my only option is to double up radias kybds with 1) the "9 pin minidin" radias kybd and 2) a midi kybd(SQ80) at midi in with the Plugiator on Midi thru....this will allow them both to play with aftertouch on...
