Hi Poli,

In Emap, is there an easy way for displaying the next score page in a multi-page score, or for scrolling the score in some way?

Thanks,
Rob

I have two controller keyboards controlling my Pa500, Tr61 and Psr 1500. They are all connected among them using the PC via Usb and also via their Midi ports. I also have a NanoKontrol that may be programmed to change live any paramater I choose in any keyboard. I have 7 instruments connected together at the same time including a Pk5 pedalboard. Actually I've made a three manual organ. The tempo is synced in all keyboards so I can also play the Korg Tr's Arps together with the styles. I use the Psr1500 as a source of thousands of syles which play the Pa500's drums and basses that are far superior. I've created buttons on the left side of the middle keyboard that function as footswitches for example to turn on/off the Arps or Fill up/break in the Psr(I can't use my feet to control so many keyboards switches since I already have 2 volume pedals and three sustain pedals plus the pedalboard). The possibilities are unlimited and I never get bored. The picture here: http://www.frappr.com/?a=viewphoto&id=5 ... d=10942256

Hi Rob

Emap is made for lyrick the score funktion is not to good, take it as a free bonus

For score I use Windows Powerpoint By loading diffrence score in PowerPoint i make my own books
,when using show as diasfunktion,I can easy have 2 page A4 next to eachother on the screen.

on every page I writh the songbook number because PowerPoint don't send midi so I have to select songbook number from my PA2X

Rob did you ever get emap? I am finally goingto look into this. When I run the emap program, I am still unsure where to put the program change data. I know to choose text setup, but where do you put the data after that. Also, if you are using it how has it been working. Do you like it.

No, I didn't buy EMAP. My requirement is to display and edit music scores and I purchased Finale 2009 instead.

Rob, thank you for the reply. For my solo act I have been using a book of 110 lead sheets that I have generated. I have been formatting text files to display using the text display of the PA800. I display text on a 9" DVD style external display. However, some song charts do not lend themselves well to fit on the small screen, and you have to page forward a lot. That is why I have been looking at alternatives. I might end up getting the Music pad pro. I wish that the music pad pro had a midi input and you could map program changes to songs. That is kindof what emap looks like, but I am not sure about that either.

Powerpoint can send CC and PC from mid files : Insert/object/ tick "from file" then choose your mid file (not sure of the MENU names, I give you the translation of the french version of powerpoint).

But you're right, it's impossible to select a songbook entry with this method. Does anybody know if it would be OK if system common functions (MIDI IMPLEMENTATION CHART) become available in a next OS?

Sorry for my poor english

best regards
Jacques
