Problems using KP3 as MIDI-Controller
Hi folks,
as this is my first entry in this forum i'd like to apologize for my bad english (i'm german) right from the start. I decided to post this entry after having searched desperately for 2 days to fix problems i have to use the Kaoss Pad 3 as a (second) MIDI-controller for Traktor Pro.
At the moment i manage to send MIDI commands to Traktor in the "ext.ctrl" mode of my KP3, but i'm not able to use these 8 led faders on the touch pad as seen in the following video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvz8BX2Y5go
(even if the guy in this video is using abelton, it should be also possible to manage doing this with traktor)
I know that i have to use the "KP3 editor" to change the MIDI-settings and transmit them, but when i've transmitted the information and reboot my KP3, nothing has changed, eventhough i got the newest drivers. (by the way there is another problem i have: windows vista does not recognize the korg midi usb driver, so i had to transmit my MIDI-settings via my old xp-computer).
So, my main problem is to get the 8 led faders in "ext.ctrl" modus to work.
Thanks, Louiehammer
