my Zero spins out and puts the audio down the wrong channels some times. So much so it almost got sent back.splurt wrote:sometimes audio switches channels, to channel two,and other times i get no sound altogether, but its random and rare, happened 5 times in 2 weeks, restarted and its fine
i hate upgrades.. safari 4 tempted me!
I left it unplugged for a week and now it seems much better. But the sound card still gets confused sometimes and needs a restart.
try starting it up in a forced sampling rate mode.
you can do 44.1k, 48k, and 96k i believe.
Hold down channel cue button 1, 2, or 3 respectively while turning it on. You will see the forced sampling rate on the screen. Once it's on, then plug in firewire.
I've found that using the default dynamic sampling rate can cause problems in some programs. Also check that you're not using it as an aggregate in audio midi setup.app in /applications/utilities
Unless you're using an aggregate at all for any reason, just delete any aggregates that already exist.
