I've just purchased the MOD-7 verification code, and unlocked this module. However, I can't find any programs or combinations that uses MOD-7 in the OASYS. When I installed the LAC-1, there were several programs available that used this. I have installed the latest OS (1.3.3.3).
I understand that there should be two files (MOD-7.pcg and .KGE) on my OASYS HD, but these are nowhere to be found. According to the "Update Guide", they should be in the factory folder of the HD, and install as default in bank User C. Can I download them from any site here, or will someone send me a copy?
Or: Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi,
there are two additional soundbanks for the mod7 as download on the korgusernet page, its somewhere "hidden" beetween the downloads as far as I remember, you have to browse al little around.
The origin mod7 soundbank should be in the factory preload. Try to open the file and go downwards to programms user C bank and there should be the sounds. So if you load bank C there are the sounds, not sure if there´s a file called mod7.pcg, but I´m not in front of my O.
Hope that helps.

PS: As far as I remeber someone in this forum had the same problem. maybe you can find the topic with the search function. There´s also a link for a huge library of DX7 sounds, that can be imprted to the mod7, I guess it was provided by Kevin Nolan (try the search function).

SoulBe is correct. I'm sitting at my keyboard, so I can tell you the steps.
On your OASYS press DISK. Select FACTORY and press OPEN at the bottom of the screen. You will see the programs - MOD-7.PCG, as well as the KARMA file for it - MOD-7.KGE.
At www.korguser.net you need to press the OASYS icon on the top left ofthe screen and log in. Once you do, select SOUNDS, from the left column and it will scroll you down to all the extra sounds. download the one that says, "MOD-7 Extra Sounds (256 Programs) and Guide"
Remember, if you created some important programs of your own, you should save them in your own PCG or ALL (with samples, songs) file, something like "MYSOUNDS", so you don't overwrite them.
You can always OPEN up a program file to the point where you can just load a single bank or OPEN again to load a single program.

In the initial release of 1.3.3, an older version of the factory PCG was erroneously included. This would not overwrite the correct data if there was a previous install of 1.3.1 - but if the system was being updated directly from an older version, it means that there would be no MOD-7 sounds.
A revised 1.3.3 installer which fixed this problem was made available to the website admin some time ago, but it's possible that it is not yet up on the site. I've sent email to check. As a temporary workaround, please download all of the 1.3 voicing files from my website:
