Korg D888 power supply

Post by alex from oz »

First time in this forum, so hello everyone.
I live in Australia (the place with the kangaroos, not the big mountains) and the wife just got back from the US, toting one of these Korg d888's. That's great, except our power supply is different to the US. According to the specs, this thing needs 115 volt supply and draws 32 watts. I have bought a power converter that takes our 240 volt down to 115, but it supplies 65 watts. I'm pretty sure that should be OK, but does anyone have an opinion before I plug this little baby in and accidentally blow it too pieces? it's a long way to send her back to San Francisco to buy another one.
Thanks, Alex
