Korg Zero8 Firewire Output Channels Crackling

Post by dr.knobz »

I'm having a strange issue with my Zero8 that just started. I am getting a nasty crackling noise (sounds like digital clipping) that is only present when using the firewire bus to output sound. I can run external sound devices through the mixer with no problem. All the software and zero8 busses report totally fine levels that should not be clipping, so I am very confused. I have tried it on multiple computers, changing the sample rate, buffer size, etc, all with the same problem.

Any suggestions? :?

check you latency settings. Turn you latency up a little to see if the crackle goes away.
