Recording MIDI into FL Studio. Help!

Hi, Ive been making songs with my m50 for a little while now and decided I wanted a DAW so I can more easily edit my compositions and bring in other instruments easily.

That's all well and good, but I cannot figure out how to get the m50 to record the sounds I am playing into the FL Studio sequencer in MIDI. I don't want to record normal audio, I know how to do that, I want it in MIDI format so I can edit parameters, etc. I can control the softsynths with the m50 but cannot hear any damn noise originating from the expensive keyboard.

Could I save the song in MIDI onto an SD and then just open it in FL Studio? Does FLS just suck? For the love of god please help.

Sorta pain in the A$$ but it worked "somehow" and with a LOT of work in Garageband, don't know about your DAW. Shouldn't this things be easier in the 21st century?

Can't tell.

I think the M50 editor deleted the 700+ effects presets that were included in the Firmware update and I'm still waiting an answer from Korg. Until then, I've deleted the Editor from my system.

im hving the exact same problem. i have the korg TR and yea im stuck hardout.
