How to turn off write protection

i have a korg micro-xl i think it's a great value.

can any one tell me how to turn off the write protection ?
i got error msg when i pressed write twice, i checked the manual
i dont see where it's at. and when i edit a sound where do i save it ?
do i just change the name ?

There is no such thing as a "korg micro-xl". There is the MicroX or the microKORG XL. Which do you mean? This is the section for the MicroX.
