How do I save new combi's w/out overwriting fctry combi's

Post by jws55 »

Please forgive me if this has been covered before, but I scrolled thru 20 pages of FAQ's and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
I have a new used Triton LE. I have figured out everything I need to do from pedal polarity to keyboard splitting and layering. Where do I save new combi's as not to overwrite any of the factory combinations? Does the SD media card get involved somehow? Do I save the factory combi's onto an SD card and start overwriting the banks with my new ones? HALP!!!!!

Sorry, but there's nothing to do with it. The only way to use your combi's is to overwrite the factory ones, and then save them in a SD card. But you can save ALL the factory programs and combinations before you overwrite them, in order to reset your LE when you want.

Thanks for the response. I can do that. Do I need the big card (128) to save all the factory stuff?

Not a bad idea. The bigger, the better. I have a TR, and all the combi's, the programs, the global settings, are less than a 1 MB (600 KB, if I recall correctly). Maybe your LE settings are further from 600 KB, so... It's up to you, but I think it's more useful the 128 MB Smart Media, so you can save all your songs :-)
