I control my Motif Rack ES with my Yamaha MM6 keyboard. I have the midi out from the MM6 going to the mini in port to my M-Audio firewire 410 soundcard. I have the midi in from the Motif Rack Es going to the midi out of my M-audio firewire 410. That part works fine. I can trigger the Motif Es Rack by using my Yamaha MM6 keyboard.
HERE'S THE PROBLEM.
My Korg Kontrol Pad is hooked up to my PC via usb and it communicates with Reason 4.0 and other programs just fine but when I try connecting a midi cable from the Korg pad kontrols midi in port to the Motif rack Es midi out or midi thru port. I can't seem to trigger the Motif Rack Es using the Korg Kontrol Pad.
If anyone knows how to trigger a Motif Rack Es using a Yamaha MM6 keyboard and a Korg kontrol pad at the same time. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
Thank You
Doc.

multiple controllers
you may want a midi merger device, if you are unable to daisy chain midi ins and outs and control the same device, Midi Solutions makes a small device that allows the merging of midi signals into one device.
