Realtime step sequencing with radias ?
hello everyone I've had my Korg Radias for a couple of months now and i've read the chapter on step sequencing. So u input the notes but the step sequencer is not running? I thought step sequencers plays while you input notes. Does the Radias have play + note input function like an 808 ? Perhaps someone can help me with this. Will there be any future updates to the firmware that may address the step sequencer?

i think this will work:
1. put the step seq/arp ON with the latch on.
2. press a key on the controller.
3. with the latch on, it will play the 32 steps in a loop even after you remove your hands off the controller.
4. the section '16 keys' on the lower extreme left of the radias has a button that can be used to select the function of the 16 keys. I think by setting that to 'trigger' you can visually see the steps illuminating according to the pattern.
5. now since you had just played one key earlier, only the 1st step of the 16 keys will illuminate every 32 steps. now you can keep adding using the steps, while your step sequencer plays on with the latch ON.
just experiment with which of the above steps shud be taken 1st, 2nd, 3rd...
I just hope this helps.
