Prolly not but i was wondering if you can use the controller to control the electribe. My friend has an Axiom 49 and if there'd be any use using the both of them.

And i mean without a computer program, i'm more just looking to mess around with them on my speakers/headphones. I don't have a properly working soundcard so i can't use any software programs (which sucks)

I don't have a ESX, but have a EMX. Using keyboard allows to use pitchbends and velocity. Velocity adds better variety of hits.
I attach a M-Audio Oxygen 25 to the EMX using a MIDI cable and plug the USB to a powered hub (no computer attached, cheaper than an AC adapter). Switching channels accesses the different Parts.

that'd be cool. Would the velocity work for the drum parts? Cause my friends keyboard has square triggers (basically like half the size of a trigger finger)
