Exactly. I sold my V-synth and got an Electribe. Its more fun and more instantaneous music creation for making electronic type music. In the modern keyboards It seems like I waste a lot of time making basic patches. In the electribe everything is streamlined to my needs.

IMO, the V-Synth (at least the GT) is pretty well designed. Got a couple of knobs, xy pad, the d-beam should be more centered, would be easier to operate with the nose. A lot of function can also be easely accessed from the touch screen. My biggest complain would be the shift button that you need to hold, requesting both hands. And again, there's nothing better than a touchscreen to draw modulations sequences. Drawing thes curves while performing live is a bunch of fun.

Speaking about the electribes, how do they compare to the radias ?
I was thinking to get a drum and mono machine from elektron. But first they are not cheap and it seems that they require a lot of two hands operation. So I may get the electribes instead, but none to test around here and I havn't been too impressed soundwise so far.

In fact, they should make that, but rather than to replace the radias, it would be a complementing piece of equipment, sort of like an addon. It could be anything from a sampler to a synth similar to the kaossilators.

I envy your photoshop skills. That's wicked.

Doesn't anyone else think that would look wicked awesome right next to a radias in its knobby glory?
yeah, i think that to have something this as a module that could be racked on the KB next to the Radias module would be great - it could be used to open up the tiny window on the Radias, to let you see more parameters at one time, get a better idea of what's going on in the current patch and give you some touchscreen capability to complement the existing knobs - it could double as a kind of Kaoss controller right there on the Radias for effects control. 8)
