Ok this may be a complete newbie problem, but no matter what I do my sequencer refuses to change the song length - I'm stuck with 64 bars, regardless of whether I change it to 16 or 128.
Have spent an hour wrestling with this and am getting real frustrated, so if anyone can help I'd be really grateful.

Strange what you´re saying. I have no problems with "Set song lenght" funtion in edit mode.
Anyway, almost never set the song lenth of my songs. Just I continue recording, and the bars will increase the default song lengh. So just start recording and don´t worry what´s going to happend in the 64th bar.

100% hardware made. All is done in a Korg M50 internal sequencer. Now updated (7/09/12) at http://www.hispasonic.com/akmon
Hi!
1 - In Seq-Mode, presse PAGE SELECT
2 - Press P6 (TRACK EDIT)
3 - From the drop-down menu in the top right corner, select SET SONG LENGTH
4 - Enter the desired number of bars and confirm with OK
5 - Exit Seq-Mode and go to Media-Mode
6 - Save your *.SEQ file to make your changes to the song length take effect
The next time you load your song, it should have the newly specified length.
Just to make sure that you have done the same thing I would have done:I'm stuck with 64 bars, regardless of whether I change it to 16 or 128.
