I will not be discussing about this whole debate, but just one line caught my eye on your post Nedim.

Dude, you must be out of your mind, if you're paying MSRP for gears. Yes, the suggested price for PA2xpro is around $3600, but you can actually get that keyboard brand new under $3000, which INCLUDES shipping and sales tax. (from Authorized dealers which comes with warranty) That is if you do your research, browse the internet, and sit on the phone for little bit...and you'll get your deal...That holds true for any audio gear in the market.

Hate to say it, but you totally spammed this thread. Everything is made in china, everything.

Back to the main subject! They guy who figured out how to add the memory thing is probably a clever person, so there's no question about the fact that he's got creative in there, but the financial aspect of it doesnt' prove to be a good deal. We dont' even know what the consequences of this "upgrade" are. For sure it voids your warranty, if you have one. As it is, it takes forever for korg dealers to get something repaired, let alone you add third parties hardware , and that's really gonna mess things up. I'm not electronic engineer, but something tells me this could go wrong, if this keyboard wasnt' designed to handle that much memory. I wouldn't get too excited about this.

Then i should say i feel sorry for you bro, people already pay 2700$US for
a brand new PA2X...but if you are one of those that just goes to SamAsh
and just purchases it then you pay 3699.99 plus tax for it.
And if you want, i can promise you and get you one anywhere in the US,
2800$us, shipping included, brand new, unopened and 2 years waranty.

Well I certainly didn't pay 3699.99 for mine, but neither did i get it for 2700$. Plus, I am NOT in the US, but the UK. And I've done all research but the figure you're telling us here, I haven't found anywhere. Thats all I'm saying.

Hi guys

In summary, some clarification please....

1. Is this memory upgrade supported by Korg?
2. Is it a simple memory board replacement or is a kit required?
3. Is the 128/256 memory board exactly the same as PA2XPro?

Thanks

Pete :D

Well as I said before I contact long time this people and they said to me that I need to bring the keyboard to them in able to do the upgrade because they need to solder something he didnt say exactly what he need to solder but he said it is in the mother board.. So I contact the person again and they told me that it is the same as before " you need to bring your keyboard to them " but he said to me that he will find someone on USA to do that service on USA.... and of course you will not have KORG warranty any more if you do that with them..

can this be done for the pa1x?? if it can i won't be buying an pa2x. it has to be said: korg was cheap only including 32 mb, when the whole middle east was begging for more. in the middle east korg's market share thanks to the pa series is 90% procent. so they didnt listen.

If the answer is yes, I would like to have one for my 2 months new Pa800.

And nothing is wrong with that at all! I sell sounds and styles and i always
try to convince people to buy the bigger sets, you'd do the same and all
of us will do the same...if Korg doesnt sell any of those PA2X trust me there
wont be no more PA800 or anything else for us, they have to make money
so we can have machines...they need money for things like research, production
and cigarettes for the engineers...
Wise words. I am fairly new on this forum and I noticed that many people are complaining at Korg. Go buy an other brand and leave this forum and go complain somewhere else.

A HAPPY Korg owner

Where can i buy Pa2x for $2700.00? A friend of mine bought a pa2x at guitar center for $2600.00 out off the door, but the sales guy is on vacation. He will be back in a month, and i need one pa2x by end of April.
