Microphones?

Post by diegombass »

What do you think about the micro of the radias compaired to the R3's one?

I'd like to know what do you think about the microphone in vocoder function and voice function, and the gooseneck or headset option.

Thanks!

I had the R3 and three months later I upgraded to the Radias. The R3 Mic was okay but it has a grat disadvantage: since it is attached to the R3 mechanically, each movement of the mic had a horrible squeek at its base. When using the vocoder, each key pressing on the R3 (depending on the gain you had of course) was transmitted thru the gooseneck and could be heard thru the mic. I decided to use a sepparate mic (via cable) to get rid of those squeaks and noises.

With the Radias mic I was really astonished when I finally recived it (was a shipped a week later). Of all my mics (I have to add they are several years old) no one has the sensitivity the Radias mic has. Sometimes it is too sensitive so I have to put him a lot away from my mouth. In my case the point goes to the Radias one!

Have you tried any other mics - I am using a Shure Beta 57, much better than the Radias one.

Thank you for your advice, I think too that the best way is buying a mic... but not for the moment. I'm burning with desire for a Radias, but I can't find a secondhand one in Spain.

;D Olé the German people! hehe
