Korg Pa2x VS Pa-800ex
Hi,
I have confused about these two keyboards.
I'm about to buy Pa2x but I saw Pa-800ex on the internet and I became hesitant that which of these two will work better for me that I would like to use the keyboard for Iranian and Arabian styles?
What are the differences between these two? Which one has a better sound quality and fast operating system?
Any suggestion?
Thanks a lot

Actually there are more voices and rhythms related to Arabic and Iranian music in Pa-800ex than Pa2x. but I really worry about the new releasing products of Korg company that there might be a new model in this year above Pa2x.
Thanks
NO KORG WARANTY WOULD COVER THE "Pa800ex"
OUTSIDE LEBANONE OR SYRIA.......
NO AGENT IS ALLOWED TO HANDLE Pa800ex.....
the Lebanon based korg agent Eddy Kanaan is the only
authorized dealer in the area.........
However, this keyboard is full of nice sounds and a great styles,
and was modified to help out the keyboardist to play live on the stage ,where time factore is very important.

I could always use a cart for a Pa2x in a solid case,
however If I am booked for a weekly gigs on a regular
beasis,my back will eventialy pay the prise...... lol
Most likely the Pa800ex is made in Italy.....but you could
only buy it from Lebanone or Syria through Eddy Kanaan.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no new hardware in it,
it has the same memory.....I heard that withen few weeks,
they will intreduse another version with 256 memory.
the midi out was cancelled to protect the styles from being copied....
has a nice set of sounds but you can not edit them....you could replace their set with yours.
The touch screen has been modified to handel more sounds and styles
at the same time.....some said it make it very helpfull on satge,
the others said it is crowded........It is a touch screen, some people still
prefer the use of bottons on the stage for accuracy.
Sina ,has made a good point, about the absence of Iranian sounds
and styles......however,I heard that Iranian and a Turkish version
are next.

Sina, actually we use lots of same musical instrument in Arabic and Iranian music, so for sure Pa-800ex is more useful than Pa-800 but according to these notes, I would prefer to go for Pa2x.Sina wrote:Pourya, there is nothing usefull for Persian music in 800EX, if you don't want 2X buy a Pa800 and you can find many set's with more then enough styles and sounds
Thanks.

and also Pa2x has a memory of 128 mb optional 256 mb which you can handle lots of styles.
I may go for Pa2x.
Thanks a lot
