What size Xd card will work with the ESX?

Post by antret »

I know, I know.... not another storage question. :) I looked and read, I promise, but I couldn't find a definitive answer to this (or I overlooked it). Does it need to be 128 meg? or can it be more?

not definitive, just my guess, but if it can't read SM > 128MB I don't see why it would be able to read XD > 128MB

I've certainly never seen anyone suggest using XD in order to get more storage - the reason most people give for using XD is they're easier to find than SM

You're right, no one has suggested to use the XD in order to get more storage. :) I understand the limitation there. My guess is that one larger than 128 meg wouldn't work either. I just never recalled seeing a definitive yes/no to the idea. No biggie, I will just hunt down one that is 128 meg. :)
