Trying to get these sounds working
Korg Radias v2.0
I have those sounds because I have a QS300 here
Seriously, that first sound wouldn't be too difficult. The guitar might be more difficult. The QS300 is a workstation so you'd get sounds like that better from a workstation that has a large library of samples like a Triton or newer M3/M50.
Tek line shouldn't be too difficult either on any VA.

The QS300 is a ROMpler, not a VA synth. The sounds you hear are sampled, not synthesized, at least not on the QS300. So if you want to recreate those sounds, you can sample them like Yamaha did on a sampler. The Radias can easily recreate all the sampled sounds that started life from synthesis. It can't accurately recreate the ones that started life as real/acoustic instruments, because it's not a sampler. The M3+EXB-Radias/Rack or TritonExtreme+MOSS can easily do any of those sounds. What you might not realize is the QS300 has 205 Waveforms in ROM and that's all it will ever have. Radias can make waveforms from other waveforms in ways that that the QS300 can't do. Apples/Oranges.

Yeah in retrospect I shoudl have remembered that. I bet you get tired of explaining that xmlguy. So basically what I should get is the M3 and use it with the Radias. I've been messing with teh Radias for a little over a year now, and have tried in vain to get a e. guitar sound. I am a total noob at syntesis, but I think a purely synth based e. guitar sound would be pretty cool.
The Radias rack will not fit in tandem with the M3 on the 60+ key configuration right? You have to get the 70+ version for that right?

Yeah, you need the 76 or 88 key versions to fit the Radias next to it.
But equally you may find a Triton much cheaper. I'm using a KARMA workstation with my RADIAS and it is a fantastic combination. You will probably find a used Triton Extreme or Triton Studio, or certainly a KARMA for cheaper than the M3 particularly if money is an issue.
Then you have the compelling combination of old and new, dark/gritty and (often fairly) high/clean, ROMpler and VA. it is quite a nice combination if I may say so myself
Oh, but don't forget the M50 too if you want something lighter, cheaper, and don't need the sampling and KARMA (but who doesn't need KARMA?)
