Relanium patch

Hey anyone and everyone, I'm totally new to this patching stuff and have been downloading like crazy, lol, but i was wondering if anyone had a patch that soundss like the bass/synth in the song leel lost by relanium. If you don'n know what i'm talking about, heres a youtube link to the video...

Have you tried anything yourself?

The say hindsight is 20/20. I wish I had taken the time to learn synthesis with free software better, before buying my R3. However, for me and you it's a bit late for that :-/

Anyways, the sound sounds fairly simple, I'll see if I can recreate it. If I do I'll try and teach you how I created this- although it would be easier for me to give you the patch, or specific settings, you won't learn much from it. The best way to patch good is to practice patching.

Hey tpantano,

I have an R3, and I have tried creating new programs, but since I don't know what most of the stuff i'm dealing with is, I don't get much out of it. I clicked the link on your reply but the flash player indicated the video no longer exists? I don't know, but if you do get it to sound like that, I would much appreciate instructions. I would love to learn. Thank you for your approach on my qestion and patch very much.

Hmm. That's not good :-/ I just checked it, yes, it was deleted. Sad, because that was the best beginner tutorial on the net.

I'll try to see if I can find something better. I have a lot to do ATM so I can't write up a master guide :-/ Not that I'm anywhere close to being a master, lol.

Wow, thanks for posting that video Timo! Brought clarity to the concepts I've learned about.

mixmexman, I highly recommend just playing around with the synth, and with this knowledge (there's also this http://www.angelfire.com/in2/yala/2ansynth.htm if you wanna get geeky lol). I've learned that with the R3, there's definitely more than one way to find a sound, and it's just a matter of playing with it
