PA2X FREEZE PROBLEM WHEN PLAYING MP3

Hi 2 everyone.

I have freeze problem with my PA2X also when I perform with MP3 files. It sounds like when you play a defected CD, tones remain hanging in short sequence mixed with my voice. Nothing works, just restart. But, dear KORG, if you perform, people are on the dancefloor and you experience that problem every second night, they are looking to you like "ahhhaaa, he's not playing, it's only a CD", and then endless waiting time until the machine restarts ...
It happened with old and also updated software, I also first defragmented, then re-formated the harddrive, but it is still the same.
Experienced anybody the same problem? Is there any solution?

Are you sure its the keyboard?
sometimes when you rip songs from scratched cd's, it sounds like that.
Try the files you are using on a computer and see how it sounds.

Hi Robi

Give us a bit more detail:-

Does it always happen with the same MP3s?
Does it always happen at the same point in the recording?
How were the MP3s created?
MP3 quality (bit rate etc..)?
Does it happen the same in both sequencers?
Can you make an offending MP3 available for us to try?

When you play a CD? a pa2x does not have a cd player?

Also when it happens again, try this:

Hold SHIFT and Press START/STOP button, see if the loop/hang stops.
