This is my little studio:
AX 3000G
Computer with M-audio AP/192 (no preamp)
Two channel mixer (very cheap one)
Mixcraft-5 software
Do I need another preamp or di-box with AX 3000G to record my guitar? Is AX 3000G enough for good guitar recording? It has a "amp/line out" option but is it enough for good sound? Good=Louder
Thanks
You should be able to go straight from the output into your recording interface as they are both line level outputs/inputs.
When you have it switched to line then the cab modelling is turned on automatically (IF it is used on that patch). Or more appropriately when you turn it to amp then the amp cab modelling is turned off (because you have a real one) and the output level is a lot lower because this is the configuration to use when you are going straight into an amp.
