Hammond XK-1 MIDI OUT to TR MIDI IN

Post by jeroentuitd »

Since I don't use the Hammond sound with every song when I'm playing live. I want to play for example some lead synths from the TR on the Hammond. But I just can't get it to work.

I tried a Trinity instead of the Hammond: works perfectly
The Trinity as a master instead of the TR: also works perfect.

But somehow nothing happens when I connect the Hammond to the TR.

Can someone tell me what I'm missing here and/or how to fix this?

In your combis you need to set up a lead sound that is configured (on an INT status timbre) to respond to the XK's MIDI channel.

Yes I did that...

Like I said, with exactly the same settings in the TR it works perfectly when connected to my Trinity...
