nanoKontrol with Logic Express 9

I'm a new user and have just installed the nK Control Surface Plug-in from the Korg website. On starting LE9 I get an alert dialogue box saying - Incompatible Plug-In: please update the nanoKontrol Plug-In. If I click ok the nanoKontrol works as expected. Can anyone advise how I get rid of the alert dialogue box? I believe I have the latest Plug-in download although I did download it mid December.
Second (possibly dumb!) question: Does the editor software still work if I've installed the Plug-In?

more importantly did you install the korg driver
