Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about the new HP tablet pc, the HP TouchSmart tm2t series? Looks like it's the same weight and screen size as the MusicPad Pro, and priced at a similar level too.

Anyone using it with musicreader?

Oh my gosh, that's really cool. Please keep posting links to the new products. Preferrably 14'' and larger, lighter, and ideal for performance.

Well that meaning is that you will have to put the HD that you want up to 500gb SATA II and the Memory DDR2 can be 667MHZ or 800MHZ single channel up to 4gb ( 2 slots so that is 2gb of memory for each slot ), and the OS that you prefer can be Windows XP/Vista/7 so and still really cheap for the price compared to tablets laptops and is a 15 inches screen... what is your opinion about that??.....

Oh I see! yeah! Hard drive and memory is real cheap , so I guess that's still a good deal. What kind of keyboard stand would you use to add this kind of screen to your setup?
I've been looking for a stand that could support two keyboards and a laptop. I could only find two portable keyboards stands:

and

http://www.quiklok.com/catalog/?p=produ ... ame=SL-820

Some people reported problems with the Quicklok stand. Looks like it's not a very solid stand.

Anyways, I decided to only purchase the add-on laptop holder, and find a creative way to mount it on my own stand.

If it works out, i'll post a pic later on.

The asus 12 inch slate is more like it! I've ordered one, the AirTurn BT footswitch and the latest MusicReader version. I'll report when it is all finally delivered (mid March?).

You're right. Is that the largest screen size available?

As far as I know, it's the largest screen, reasonably priced, lightweight slate I've seen.

well, I did buy iPAD 2, and now I have all of my chord charts (pdf) loaded in there. Nice bright screen, awesome battery life and so on.

In any case, there's seem to be more alternatives these days:
