hi all,

Yes I know, this is the Radias forum, but help out someone working on your grandpa's VA..

I am having issues trying to identfy the type of sound in the 3rd lead of JMJ O4 it starts at around 1:31 in the attached youtube vide..... sounds like a phaser on top of something?.. ideas would be appreciated!

From what I hear it sounds almost like a sync lead sound.
Korg R3, Roland SH-201, Roland MC-909, Novation Mininova, Novation Impulse 49, Korg EMX, and a bunch of VSTi's

DaniH is right. It's a sync lead sound with vibrato.

If you follow the steps on that video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgleogs_ll4 you can recreate the famous laser harp sync sound. Based on that sound not too complicated to recreating the O4 sync lead sound.
