Video board

Does the same board work in both 2x and 3x? When I upgrade to the black beast (and I know most everybody wants to), it would be nice to pop my VIF4 right in...boom. BTW, my guy at Sweetwater tells me they're on the way, $3999 delivered for the 76, plus 2 year warranty. Liongold
