R3 and external effects processors

Does anyone know whether you can plug in things like guitar effects pedals (Moogerfoogers, Boss pedals) or a KP3 into the R3 in order to effect the sounds/patches further in the R3? I know the R3 has its own extensive effects section, but I was just wondering how far you can stretch the R3 in terms of bringing in other effectors.

You can plug the R3's audio through infinitely many (well not really, the signal would eventually die in the cabling) audio effect processors such as guitar distortion, flange, etc. You can't use insert effects that change what the R3 outputs, though, other than the internal ones.

You don't plug effect pedals into an instrument, you plug the instrument into the effect pedal, then the effect pedal is routed to an amp. I'm not sure what you're aiming at doing.

Also, the R3 has a single stereo headphone output, then left and right outputs. Do you mean "individual outs" for each part?

These are some pretty weird questions.

No i mean individual outputs that most korg keyboards have besides the L/r and headphone one.

like you can route one or more timbres to it to control it with external effects and what not. even korg ive seen has them...

I think not.
The Radias does have them, but the R3, MicroKorg XL, MicroKorg, MS2000, and many other of the pure synth range of Korgs do not have individual outputs.

I think not.
The Radias does have them, but the R3, MicroKorg XL, MicroKorg, MS2000, and many other of the pure synth range of Korgs do not have individual outputs.

In the amp section, you have the ability to pan the timbre, so you could actually create a split or layered patch where one timbre is panned to the right and the other timbre is panned to the left. This would create two separate mono outputs for each timbre. When doing a gig, this comes in very handy for the sound guy. One stereo line where everything is mixed together means he can't control individual tones.
