Easy way to program & play broken chords?
Is there some easy way to program and do one-touch playing of broken- chord? It seems to me that the Chord trigger buttons would be ideal for this if they could be programmed/set to play, for instance, the three notes of a "G" triad chord in sequence (arpeggio) instead of all at once. for the simple folk and pop tunes I play, the ability to do such"one touch" playing just 3 or 4 different broken chords per song would be a real plus. Thank you.
Keep lookin' 'round the bend.

You create/modify an arpeggio pattern that would then also apply if you don't use the chord triggers. To avoid having arpeggio apply all over the keyboard you need to make a split combination that puts arpeggio only on the key range where they should apply.sixtoeightfeet wrote:Well, that is the question: How do I apply or "write" and appergio pattern to the chords on the chord triggers? Can you direct me to the page in the Parameters Guide, or perhaps an online tutorial that says how do do this?
Check out e.g. page 76 and 77 in the owner's manual (arpeggio in combination and creating an arpeggio).
It's definitely not PA-simple, but it can be done.

I found a simpler way, not involving a split:
Go to Combination mode and choose a rather simple combination, preferably "empty".
Set up one program on Gch (global channel) and one on e.g. channel 2 (for the chords; you edit channel under Timbre param).
When creating the chords (Controllers / Chord trigger), assign the secondary channel to each chord.
I'm aware this is piece-meal, but I hope you cope.
I tried it and it worked fine.
