NanoPad doesnt connect with PC

Post by Museus »

Ive been using a MicroKey, NanoKey, NanoKontrol and NanoPad for almost 3 years now on my pc with Live and Sonar. I move my stuff around alot and have to plug and unplug everything often.

About 3 days ago, my NanoPad has been acting stupid on me.

When I connect my nano pad to my laptop, the scene LED lights up for like 3 seconds and just shuts down. Since I always connect the same stuff the same way, I dont get why its doing this now. Ive tried reinstalling the drivers, nothing works.

My OS doesnt have the time to detect it and the Korg Driver Utility never pops up for it. Today my NanoKontrol started doing the same thing, but somehow after unpluging and repluging one or 2 times, it got fixed and everything is fine. But the Pad still wont work.

Any ideas? Im hoping for a solution as much as a "Its broken get a new one". I just hate having a problem with no solutions.

I run a PC with Win7 Home Premium

I had this exact problem with both nanokontrol and nanopad. I highly recommend starting by getting a new USB cable.
I tried everything the first time it happened to me but it was the new USB cable that fixed the problem.
