Hi, my Trinity has had a slightly erratic scroll wheel (Alpha dial?) since I bought it a three years ago. It works a little, but takes a lot of turns to move through the sounds, then flicks back two or three sounds when i stop turning it. Gut reaction is the pot track needs cleaning or maybe replacement, but wondered if any of you here have had a similar problem.
Also how hard is it to get to in the innards of the Trinity?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Trinity Scroll Wheel
I don't think it is a pot with a track, but rather contacts inside - but cleaning would still apply (maybe just a slightly different method, though).
It is not hard, but it does require a fair amound of patience, organised and systematic work for marking screws and wires, and abundant picture taking as you go, just in case you've missed something during disassembly and you only realise it when reassembling. To get to the data wheel you'll need to disassembe practically the whole synth, but it is not that big a deal provided time is not a constraint.sawtooth wrote:Also how hard is it to get to in the innards of the Trinity?
