Hi PA3X guys & gals,

Just wondered if anyone is actually happy with this keyboard. I am about to pay up big $$ for my PA3X-76 and I am finding it hard to locate the positives.
So, anyone regretting their purchase etc???

(Thanks ozdaniel - read your post)

Cheers

Hello Pete!

Honestly, I'm very satisfied with this keyboard. It is worth it. Yes we often hear negative responses, but just think about it...Even if this keyboard had everything, we will always find people who complain. I sold my pa2x pro to buy my new "girlfriend", and damn I really like her this time :D

I am very happy to have exchanged my PA2X with PA3X-76. The vocal processor is fantastic, the new styles are very beautiful and well made, the new sounds are unbelievable, the body is solid and cool, the new display is greatly improved.
I am very happy. :D

Hi,

Yes I'm happy with this keyboard. Vocalist 2 and new styles are great.
Unfortunately some OS bugs are still here and I can't use the power of this PA3x.

Hoping Korg will release an update very soon but I can ear nothing here.

Fear not Pete, I don't think you will regret it.

Had my 3x76 a week now UK and it is a fantastic keyboard. When i first saw it when it stated to appear at NAAM i wanted it even before hearing it simply for the changes they had made to the layout of things which makes it much better for playing on the fly than the 2x. I also had the PAAS speaker even though i usually play through a 480w SR system, I wanted it for any small places for convenience. And IMHO it is excellent.

Out of the box the keyboard sounds a little flat as global reverb is set to zero and most of MAXX audio is turned off, but tweak these up and it really comes to life.

The new screen is crystal clear, the new modern black look is also great, but keep a cleaning cloth handy as it shows every fingerprint and could soon look a bit tatty if left. It was not noticed so much on the 2x.

Sounds and styles are great,

For me anyway it was a good move.

Hello pete, This unit is realy great, I think They did not finish the work before the relese, but even after this , the KB is wery wel done,

BUGS = yes, New OS = MUST!

Screen is responding very strange some times here, Styles are the same whit better sounds and FX, BUT even more and NEW ones is there, So for me , KORG must make more Styles NEW and better, I,m always out for more, Who is not?

Is a great KB , BUY IT!

When it comes to other brand KORG is more Open, And you can change many things, So for me , KORG is great, I also use T 4, Sounds super, But Not so friendly when it comes to EDIT!

Changing and revoicing a style is no big deal on KORG, in yamaha, PAIN IN DA A...

Korg needs people that makes styles and sound for them, After so many years of PAX series, Still nothing out there for Sounds and Styles.

Besides al that, KORG is the only one out the market now, Whit better sound better OS it will stay many years.

Hi Pete,
haven't regretted it for a moment.
XG Drumsets
Guitar Mode 2.
4 fills.
Auto fill, ( same as yammie) if one chooses to use it, but at the same time it also has 4 dedicated fill buttons ( +break)

Comparing identical style on PA800 & Pa3x , it just plain sounds better.
best wishes

Hey Rick - you must have (or will need) a lot of patience to wait that long.

Mine has already been further delayed - was due end of August, then end of Sept and now mid October so, at this rate, you still might get yours before me
:(

Cheers
