Hi all,
Does anyone know how I can connect the Kronos to a JVC Evo Camcorder? I want to capture the audio with the video. I want to be able to disengage the camcorders internal mic though.
Also, how would i connect 4 x Synths to the camcorder? I take it i need some sort of hardware that acts as an interface between the 4 synths and the camcorder?
I also want to be able to listen to myself through a roland amp while recording the synths to the camcorder.
I have a very simple setup, the 4 synths are connected via mono cable to a roland KC150 amp. I want to keep this setup so i can listen to myself while improvising and i want to be able to record to the cam and capture the audio in a more professional manner.
Any help will be appreciated.
Regards
Billy

Re: Record Kronos to Camcorder/Video
Have you heard of a mixer? That is what you would normally use to mix several sources to one destination. additionally, you will typically get options for monitoring, additional outputs, etc to route to your headphones or amplifier.billysynth1 wrote: Also, how would i connect 4 x Synths to the camcorder? Also, this entire approach will only work if you actually have a camera that has audio input sockets - they are usually a RCA or minijack connector if they are present. Many cameras don't have an audio input at all. I haven't checked out your specific model but if that is the case, then as Bruce says, you're better off recording the audio internally and trying to sync it up to the video later in software.
