I have a headphone amp with 4 head phone outs hooked up to the head phone jack.. Worked real good. I have the D3200 hooked up to a Power protector, but one day the thing shut down, consequently the D3200 shut down. I came back in a few minutes & plugged it into a different power supply.. Now I don't know if this is related to my problem, but thought I'd mention it just in case.. Anyway, I used to be able to hear on both left & right ear phones, so I thought my ear phones went bad, so I tried 3 different headsets, all the same only sound coming out of the right ear.. so I unplugged out of the headphone amp, & plugged directly into the head phone out jack on the D3200.. Still the same, except plugged in directly I could faintly hear in the left ear, but rather scratchy & very faint..
Is there a setting somewhere that I could return it to stereo?? Maybe some spray into the jack??
Thanks for any help I can get.. Just doing an album, & finished the 12th song..
I just went in & went into different areas, & noticed a couple of strange things.. When I went into the Pan window, the little square boxes around the knobs were flickering from left to right & back, yet the pans work, also when I went to effects send window, the boxes there would flicker from one number to another & then quit.. Yet the recorder plays OK, records OK. Haven't tried to apply effects yet or Master anything.. Why is that thing doing these things to a nice guy like me.?????
More weird stuff, I went into the Mixer window. If I click on Pan knob for track 5 then track 8 knob turns but a few knobs flicker, but if the music is playing I can't pan track 5. If I hit stop, then click on track 5 pan knob it will turn. Same holds true for highs, mids bass, if I click on a mid knob ta few will flicker, but can't turn them unless the music stops. In other words I can't listen to the song while I panning it..
Is there a reset I can do without losing all my songs???

Just a glitch in the design right there. While I haven't had the headphone trouble you have, I have the same issues with not being able to pan or adjust the bass/treble/effects while the tracks are playing. The cursor will jump to another knob and adjust something I don't want. I've just learned to stop, make the adjustment, and restart. I repeat that until I find what I want.
