Kronos demo @ Hangfoglalás (Soundquest)
I will briefly demonstrate the amazing "9 in 1" keyboard instrument, the new Korg Kronos workstation at the biggest, yearly Music Industry Trade Show of Central and Eastern Europe, called Hangfoglalás (Soundquest). Location: Syma Centre, Budapest. Booth: A69-70, AudioZóNA. Showtime: Saturday, 11:45 and 14:45.

even though mine is an 88, that picture gives me good perspective on where to mount the NanoPad I just bought (once it shows up) in anticipation of OS 1.5. I'm thinking a velcro mount right at the top, over the bank buttons. That way, the Cable routing should be a bit more seamless.
I'm selling the TriggerFinger, just because I don't need all the functionality for this (and it's too big). Plus, the built-in integration of the Nanopads (and the fact that they're pretty cheap) is cool as well.

I don't know if you can post this or have already tested it:
Does OS 1.5 give us more from the possible physical 4Gb memory, or does it stay within the well known memory limitations of 32bit systems without additional memory management (providing less than 3.5 Gb effectively)?

[technical story]
It all depends whether they use a Physical Address Extension (PAE) enabled kernel or not.
Without PAE, a portion of the memory will be used for at least three things that are not regular memory:
* the High BIOS area;
* the DMI/APIC area;
* the PCI memory area.
The size of the two former ones is specified:
the DMI/APIC area and the high BIOS together occupy the address space between F000 0000h and FFFF FFFFh (inclusive).
That is 1000 0000h or 268,435,456 Bytes (268 MB) of address space that might not be available as regular memory.
Then there is the PCI memory area, whose size is unspecified (probably because it might vary depending on whether or not you have PCI/PCIe cards installed).
In total, these three blocks might account for most or all of the missing memory you're seeing on certain 32-bit operating systems.
