iPad other legacy instruments

Post by rinoadamo »

Hi everybody, i'm wondering if anyone has some information about the porting of other legacy instruments on iPad, such as M1 (already released for Nintendo platform) or Wavestation

Rino,

M1 and wavestation were released as VST instrument plug-ins for PC/Mac as the Korg Legacy Collection - since discontinued. As far as I know they've not been moved over to the iPad platform -- yet. We can only hope.

You might want to check Native Instruments, there are a couple of synths that are part of the Komplete package that are very close - rompler (m1) and vector (WS) synth engines are both part of that package -- again for PC/Mac.

One instrument they (NI) do have for the iPad is the Maschine sample player/sketch pad, which might be worth a look depending on your needs.
