WHY ROLAND EV5 PEDAL DOESN'T WORK ON PA1X??

Post by keyboardmadness »

Hi all, I've tried today to connect my expression pedal Roland EV5 to my Pa1xpro but it doesn't work!

I tried also to select on the menu for the assignable pedal "reverse" instead of Korg but nothing happens :(
Anyone can help??

I think it should work. Make sure Menu, Keyboard Ensemble, Keyboard Control, Expression Pedal is ticked.

This may or may not be related to your problem. I have a Roland sustain pedal and it won't work right either with my Pa1x. No matter what I do the polarity is reversed - sustain is on all the time until I depress the pedal. I have several other pedals, Yamaha, Kurzweil, Alesis and all of them work fine, just not the Roland.

Maybe it's an ancient Japanese shogun thing...

Either that or the Sake was flowing a bit freely in Roland's design dept. one night. :D
